MIAMI BEACH, FLA. – This summer, Miami Beach is cutting parking rates to just $1 per hour in a move aimed at supporting local businesses during the typically slower months of July and August.
City officials announced that the discounted rate will apply to all municipal garages, lots, and on-street parking spaces across Miami Beach. The offer is only available through the ParkMobile app, with users able to enjoy up to three discounted hours per parking session and a maximum of 45 discounted hours over the two-month period.
“Summer is here, and we welcome everyone to enjoy Miami Beach with our lowest parking rates ever,” said Commissioner Alex Fernandez. “With $1 hourly parking and amazing seasonal events like Miami Spa Month and Miami Spice, now is the perfect time to explore, relax, and experience everything Miami Beach has to offer.”
To use the discount, drivers must access the ParkMobile app, enter their parking zone number, and apply the promotional code that appears in a pop-up banner. The code only needs to be entered once for zones that share the same rate.
Mayor Steven Meiner emphasized the economic impact of the initiative: “Reducing parking costs is about boosting our local economy during the slower summer months. We’re encouraging more activity in our commercial areas and helping small businesses thrive.”
